Join Executive Vegan Chef and cookbook Author Doug McNish and learn everything there is to know about knife skills including what to look for when purchasing knives, proper sharpening and storing.
In this class you will learn the following basic and advanced cuts: Dice - Large, Medium, Small, Brunoise , Mince, Julienne - Large, Medium, Small, Allumette, Paysanne, Batonette , Chop - Rough, Medium, Fine, Paysenne, Oblong, Tournee , Shaved, Bias.
You will also learn the following knife skills: Types of Knives, What to Look for in Purchasing a Knife, How to Properly Hold a Knife, Peeling Citrus Fruit/Melons, Proper Sharpening.
At the very end, Doug will put together all of your prepped ingredients to make some delicious dishes that you will get to taste and enjoy!
