At ChocoSol, their primary focus is making cacao into fresh, stone-ground artisanal chocolate. The company produces their product in such a way that respects their values and they are dedicated to producing a socially just and ecological chocolate product. Also, they use solar energy, bicycle-powered product deliveries and pedal-powered machines during production and distribution. ChocoSol products are made with ingredients that have been grown in Southern Ontario and they are free of dairy, gluten, soy, nuts, preservatives or additives and are also vegan. They are wrapped in compostable and reusable packaging.
They specialize in eating chocolate and drinking chocolate, but also offer other forest garden foods sourced from Mexican farmers, such as cacao nibs, cinnamon, coffee and vanilla pods.
Their whole food chocolate is made in small batches on site at their St. Clair Avenue West location in Toronto.
