Heal the Loss of Loved Ones

The Work of Suzane Northrop

For over thirty years, Suzane Northrop has helped thousands worldwide to recover and heal from the loss of family and friends by bridging the gap between the world of the living and the spiritual world. She is an internationally acclaimed medium, grief and bereavement expert, a TV and radio host, and the author of three books, including her newest, A Medium’s Cookbook: Recipes for the Soul. I had the privilege of interviewing Suzane on my on-line radio show Intuitive Literacy, a program sponsored by Tonic Magazine. We discussed some of her best “ingredients” to help you in creating your own connections, to allow for healing of your heart and your soul. Last year, she was the keynote speaker at the 13th Annual Energy Psychology Conference, and she returns to Toronto for a three-day seminar series, in three locations, November 29 to December 2, 2012. As a result of knowing Suzane, I have felt in my own private practice and my own life a greater sense of connection and inner peace in the knowledge that we are not alone and that the support offered by those who continue on beyond the illusion of physical death is a constant. A belief in the continuity of life is a cultural phenomenon that cannot be denied. She asserts, “Physicists know that energy does not die, that it only changes in form.” The dead persons actually have an agreement with us to connect following their transition because “it helps us in our process.”

In one of the most famous psychological studies of the late twentieth century, Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, M.D. explored the now famous model of the five stages of dealing with death: denial and isolation, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. This is not a linear-sequential process, rather a cyclical one replete with layers. She writes, “A high percentage of widowers and widows seen in clinics and by private physicians present themselves with somatic symptoms as a result of the failure to work through their grief and guilt.”

According to Gary E. Schwartz, PhD, professor of psychology, medicine, neurology, psychiatry, and surgery, and director of the Laboratory for Advances in Consciousness and Health, “Of the approximately thirty skilled mediums I have tested scientifically for more than a decade, Suzane stands out among the best. Not only are her readings typically highly accurate, specific, and meaningful, but she provides the information in a manner that combines love and compassion with strength and conviction.” I am honored to facilitate the opportunity for individuals to meet, learn and interact with Suzane Northrop.
